13200 Old Gentilly Road - New Orleans, LA
Interior Renovation - Full Scope - 3300 SF [Not Awarded]
The Delgado Deckhand Training Center Renovation project involves a comprehensive interior and exterior upgrade to modernize the facility. The scope includes demolition and site preparation, with the removal of existing partitions, finishes, doors, utilities, and slabs to accommodate new installations. Structural improvements will require framing, metal stud installation, and blocking for millwork and equipment, while concrete and masonry work will focus on slabs, footings, and minor masonry repairs as needed. Millwork and finish carpentry will play a key role in the aesthetic and functional aspects of the space, including custom cabinetry, counters, and detailed trim work.
Building systems will be upgraded with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations, ensuring efficient HVAC, lighting, power, and plumbing connections for sinks, toilets, and kitchen equipment. Flooring and finishes will include LVT, epoxy resin, porcelain tile, and interior wall finishes, while roofing and insulation improvements will address energy efficiency and weather protection. Other critical components of the project include doors, windows, and storefront systems, fire protection installations, and ceiling and drywall work, ensuring compliance with ADA and fire safety standards. The project also requires the installation of specialty equipment, such as kitchen appliances, restroom accessories, and suspended ceiling systems, making it a well-rounded renovation effort requiring experienced subcontractors across multiple trades.
